We are currently looking for a Operations Administrator to join our fantastic team here at our Bayston Hill Quarry site, close to Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The role is easily commutable from Telford, Wellington, Market Drayton, Broseley, Much Wenlock, Shawbury, Welshpool, Bridgnorth, Oswestry, Welshpool, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Wrexham, Shifnal, Albrighton, Stourbridge, Ludlow, Craven Arms, Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.

Reporting directly to Operations manager, the Operations Administrator will provide both clerical and administrative support both individually and as part of a team. You will also be involved with the coordinating, implementing and communicating procedures and take responsibility for specific projects and tasks.
On a day to day basis, your responsibilities in this role as an Operations Administrator will include (not exhaustive):
- Checking and processing operative timesheets on a daily basis in line with business cut off periods
- Supporting and coordinating where necessary on organising training courses
- Raising purchase order requisitions and goods receipt on receipt of invoice
- Processing area transactional data accurately and in line with requirements
- Updating various departmental spreadsheets with information as and when it is available
- Providing assistance with the production of presentations, documents and reports
- Coordinating meetings including room allocation and catering requirements
- Reporting any unsafe or hazardous working practices
- Collating and formatting monthly stats and reports for manager
- Monitoring local annual leave and sick leave entitlements / payments
No formal qualifications are necessary for this Operations Administrator position, but a sound level of both numeracy and literacy is required as is previous experience as an administrator or previous experience of organising and planning.
We are looking to hear from candidates who can demonstrate strong teamworking, communication and interpersonal skills along with strong competence in Microsoft Packages. Experience of SAP would also be a bonus.
