About our Nursery

Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool are proud to hold an Ofsted rating Good. Based next to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, within walking distance from the University train station and bus stop. The nursery is also accessible via M5 and close to Birmingham city centre, making an easy commute. There also good public transport links for those wishing to come by bus or train. The university train station is a short walk from Nursery, with free shuttle buses running to and from the hospital. The 20A, 55 and 19 buses also stop at the QE hospital giving you a five minute walk to Nursery. 

About our Benefits

As a Nursery Practitioner, we offer a salary from £24,960 per annum (£12 per hour), plus you will also be entitled to:

What to expect as Nursery Practitioner

  • As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs. 
  • Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
  • Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
  • And most of all…have FUN! 

*To apply for this role, you must hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse*
