We
have a fantastic opportunity for a Nights Team Leader at Thoresby Hall
Hotel. The reception area is a
fundamental part of our guests’ experience when staying at Warner.
As a Nights Team Leader leading one great team, you will play an integral part in providing
a perfect customer journey for our guests.
Set within magnificent grounds, Thoresby
Hall is part of the Warner Hotels Group. This beautiful, 221-bedroom hotel
still has its original features which continue to
be enjoyed by Warner’s guests today. There are deep armchairs in the vaulted
splendour of the Great Hall, and the house’s broad terrace overlooks a croquet
lawn and acres of classic parkland.
What will I be doing?
As part of our supportive team, you will
develop and grow into delivering a great customer service on reception, within
the hotel. Alongside the nights team you will be a key
part of the smooth running of hotel during the night.
- Be able to help the retail team by declaring tills/ terminals on busy nights.
- Demonstrating knowledge and operating site main electrical, gas and water shut offs.
- Identifying and apprehending intruders to the site and informing the authorities.
- Be guest focused, always having a positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
- Be able to make decisions confidently.
What are we looking for?
- A leader who has a genuine passion for working nights.
- Will allocate and delegate roles from security checks, fire walks and any other relevant health. and safety checks during the night.
- Willingness to challenge if standards aren’t meeting required levels.
- A resolution focused leader with the confidence to deal with guest concerns, showing empathy and understanding continually looking to improvise with opportunities our guests provide
- The capacity to multi task in a guest facing environment, for example preparing for guest arrivals whilst monitoring areas for improvement
- Be able to make decisions confidently
- Ability to coach and develop team to improve performance
What skills do I need?
- Experience of leading a large team in a customer facing environment
- Have the ability to create an environment where the team are able to grow and develop
- Effective communicator with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
