Our upcoming hotel will showcase 189 guest rooms, including 12 exclusive suites. Guests will immerse themselves in the warm ambiance of our lobby bar, GLOW, indulge in culinary delights at the all-dining restaurant, OXBO, and enjoy breath-taking views at the chic Sky Bar, LOFT. The success of our hotel relies on hosting Meetings & Events for up to 500 guests, making it imperative to assemble a high-performing team committed to delivering the ultimate guest experience across all areas of our business.

• Please note that Hilton does not own a car park facility. Therefore if you need to drive to work there are parking facilities adjoined to our premises, owned and managed by the Woking Borough Council. To park your vehicle on the premises, you will need to purchase a parking permit directly from the council at approximately a cost of £1320 to £2,750 per year depending on the carbon emissions of your vehicle.

A Marketing Executive will work with the Commercial Director to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness.

What will I be doing?

As Marketing Executive you will work with the Commercial Director to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan for the opening of the new Hilton Woking and to create hotel brand awareness. Specifically, a Marketing Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support on planning and implementation of marketing activities
  • Support with designing creative materials for Internal & External Communications
  • Supporting on social media strategy creation and execution and social campaigns
  • Owning and managing social calendar and any paid campaigns
  • Project management support, including creation and monitoring of project plans, preparation of presentation decks and other necessary documents as required
  • Work with PR and Design agencies in generating new ideas
  • General admin assistance in support of key team projects and initiatives
  • Responsible for ensuring brand.com conference and events pages are kept up to date along with third party sites
  • Copywriting and reporting

What are we looking for?

A Marketing Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Ability to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
  • Intermediate level of IT skills including Adobe, powerpoint, photoshop, canva & In-design
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure at all times
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
  • Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
  • Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
