We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Performance Analyst to join our strategic marketing team in Leeds on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this role, you’ll develop and manage user-friendly reports, offering valuable insights into trends, product performance, and customer behaviour. You’ll work closely with our key stakeholders to guide marketing and product development, helping to expand our reach and enhance our advice services.
Your Role
In this role, you’ll handle creating and managing regular reports and dashboards to track how our charity’s services and marketing channels are performing. You’ll compare this data against our benchmarks and targets. You’ll also gather and analyse information on consumers, competitors, and the market to create actionable reports. Your insights will help us understand key user behaviours, improve marketing efforts, enhance website experiences, and refine customer journeys. As a go-to expert, you’ll review current reporting tools, suggest improvements, and spot opportunities for action.
You’ll build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that opportunities are clearly defined, effectively implemented, and measured accurately. You’ll also help streamline and automate processes to make everything run more smoothly. Keeping track of and following up on actions identified by marketing managers will be key, along with focusing on your own growth and adhering to StepChange’s policies and procedures.
About you
- Have you worked in Marketing, as a Performance/Business Analyst, or in Research, with a proven history of defining and measuring performance in analytics-driven environments?
- Do you understand marketing goals, customer behaviour, and journeys well enough to spot usage patterns and trends, and turn those insights into actionable opportunities?
- Are you comfortable using Microsoft Excel and have experience with data visualization tools like Google Looker Studio,Power BI or similar tools?
- Do you have hands-on experience working with web analytical tools, or whilst helpful but not vital, a knowledge of Big Query, APIs, and SQL?
Job Tenure: Permanent
Salary: Up to £34000 per annum + Benefits
