Job Title: Kite Dairy Consultant – Business (Southwest Region)
Location: Home Based with 2-3 days per week travelling
Contract: Permanent / Full Time

This is an excellent opportunity to work with our Southwest-based farm clients looking to grow or transform their businesses. You will support them with solutions and plans to elevate their operations to the next level.
About the Role: As part of the Kite South West Team will join a growing team of consultants and dairy specialists. Our mission is to enable a responsible and sustainable growing dairy sector in the UK. This role focuses on the financial sustainability of our clients.. You will develop a client portfolio in dairy business consultancy which will be supported by attending regular dairy events and networking opportunities, to offer  our clients optimal market, commercial, and financial advice. Collaboration with financial advisors, accountants, banking, and legal firms is key to enabling change for our customers with a unified approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and analytical advice with a focus on profitability, sustainability, and return on investment.
- Utilise benchmarking data to ensure competitiveness and growth.
- Employ business tools for budgeting and monitoring purposes.
- Understand business and financial structures for succession and development.
What You’ll Bring:
- A degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business or Finance (Essential)
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills to use and develop business monitoring systems (Essential)
- Highly motivated people who link into the many projects we undertake. (Essential)
- Comprehensive organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to deliver multiple tasks and deadlines (Essential)
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills (Essential)
- Effective communication and relationship building skills (Essential)
- Tact and diplomacy when working closely with personal matters (Essential)
- Enjoys working to in a target orientated environment with a commercial mindset (Essential)
- Previous experience in agriculture, dairy, or financial/business advisory (Desirable)
- Comprehensive understanding of UK dairy farming and market trends. (Desirable)
- Proven history in developing sales and high-value consultancy. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of farming business financial structures, including accounting and budgeting. (Desirable)
- Must possess a driving license.
Additional Information:
GB travel will be required to visit clients and attend internal and external events/meetings. May require staying away from home 2-4 days per month.
