Job Title: Customer Support Team Member – Development Income

Circa £25,000 dependent on skills & experience
Full time, 37 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
Location: Huntingdon

We are recruiting for a Development Income Team Member to join our Wholesale Services team on a temporary basis!

What you’ll be doing:

The role is varied and engaging, with a primary focus on payment allocation through SAP, whereby you will also maintain customer accounts and general ledgers. You will carry out administrative duties through our new Inflow portal and directly handle customer queries via telephone and email.

The ultimate purpose of your work will be to maximise income while minimising outstanding debt. Therefore, part of this role will involve assisting the debt collection team through the recovery and legal process.

You will be liaising with other departments to support our customers through their application process, ensuring levels of service targets are met. Moreover, there is a strong focus on error resolution and process improvement, which gives the candidate a real opportunity to stand out and leave their mark.

What does it take to be successful?

– Customer service and financial experience (preferably business to business)
– Comfortable with basic arithmetic
– Excellent telephone etiquette with ability to discuss matters such as payment resolution & debt chasing
– Proficient with all Microsoft Office products – including the use of VLOOKUP & pivot tables
– Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
– The desire to solve problems, improve processes and deliver efficiencies
– Ability to work independently and as part of the team
