The Opportunity:

Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC) are pivotal in our mission to combat climate change and secure reliable, clean energy for generations to come. As Compliance Manager, you'll be the guardian of SZC's integrity, ensuring it operates at the highest ethical and legal standards. Your work will be essential to the success of these landmark projects, making a tangible impact on the fight against carbon emissions.

 

You will form part of our EPR Programme (EPRP) Legal team who provide legal support to the HPC and SZC projects. It forms part of the Governance and Legal Affairs Directorate which is one of the corporate functions within EDF Energy. The EPRP Legal function is comprised of a Construction team and a Corporate and Regulatory team, who work closely alongside one another.

What you’ll be doing:  

 

As Compliance Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring SZC's compliance with legal and ethical obligations.

 

Your role will involve developing and managing the corporate compliance program, implementing robust policies and procedures, and conducting thorough investigations into any compliance issues.

 

You'll be the driving force behind fostering a culture of integrity and accountability throughout SZC, equipping our teams with the knowledge and tools they need to uphold the highest standards of conduct.

To thrive in this role, you'll need more than just experience; you'll need passion and drive to make a difference.

 

With a proven track record in compliance management in regulated industries, you'll bring a deep understanding of UK regulations and a keen eye for detail.

 

Your strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders will be invaluable as you navigate complex legal landscapes and drive change within the organization. Certification as an ICA certified compliance professional is a definite plus, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.

Contract: FTC  – 12 months Maternity cover
