As a Cash Controller in our team you’ll be working with the closely with the Accounting Services Manager to maximise cash collections, which means you steadily build up and nurture great relationships. Your in box will be constantly busy therefore keeping organised and on top of your daily work will make the days fly by!
Your skills around effective communications on email or over the telephone will ensure you are representing our company in a professional way. Your duties will be varied so one minuet you could be reviewing overdue debt the next Issuing notice of intentions!! Key contacts will be your customers and internal stakeholders such as account managers or other business departments.
Ultimately you will maximise our cash collection by effective use of company’s credit policy, resolving queries quickly, effectively and in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly review of overdue debt relating to cash contracts
- Weekly review of un invoiced revenue for cash contracts
- Contacting customers to arrange payments of overdue balances
- Issuing of Notice of Intentions
- Compiling Legal Packs for further action via our Solicitors
- Escalation of accounts in line with agreed collection paths
- Processing credit card payments
- Timely logging of queries where applicable
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers in addition to other agencies
