Salary Range: £19,593 – £20,016 pa pro rata

You’ll support people with a learning disability, autism or both, at home and in the community to live life to the full. Care and support experience is not essential, we value the personal skills and interests you can bring to the role and lives of people we support.
In this full or Part-time time role, you’ll join a well-established and supportive team at a homely, residential care home in Bedminster, Bristol. You'll support seven individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities at home and in the community. You don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.
Your day will include supporting individuals in day-to-day activities, including support with eating and drinking and personal care. You’ll also support them to enjoy activities within the home. As part of the team of staff you'll also participate in running the home. Working in our friendly teams, you’ll enable the people you support to increase their independence and live life in the way they choose.

If you’re new to social care, we’ll support you to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate.
You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work 24/7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights. We also have waking nights only contracts avalible in this location.

You have the option of working additional hours (£10.02 – £10.24 p/h) or sleep-ins at £60 extra per sleep-in, in a range of services.
