We are delighted to be looking for our next round of apprentices
Our apprenticeships are a great way to develop skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst earning the real living wage. You’ll work along side our fantastic team of experienced professionals to learn and gain real life experience.
This year we are looking for apprentices to work with the following teams:
Finance
Working across our financial services and financial performance team you will gain insight into all aspects of corporate finance and work towards an AAT level 3 qualification.
Electrical
You will work with our domestic electrical team, gaining experience of test and inspection alongside installation and maintenance on our properties working towards becoming a qualified domestic electrician.
Plumbing and Heating
You will study plumbing and heating engineering, whilst gaining experience not only in gas maintenance and installation, but also other heating types from oil to low carbon solutions such as air source heat pumps. You will become a qualified Gas Safe heating engineer.
Joinery
Our joinery apprentices work with our qualified joiners maintaining our properties whilst working towards a level 3 qualification, there will also be opportunities to work with our development teams on construction sites.
Surveying (Technical Building)
Become a qualified building surveyor whilst working alongside our experienced team, you will also spend time with our development team making sure our construction projects are on track.
Painting
Painters make a real difference to our properties. You will work with both our internal and external painting teams to help ensure that our properties look great. You will gain experience using a variety of techniques and technical produces to develop your skills
Communications
While working with our communications team particularly our Contact Centre and Customer Involvement team you will study for a Customer Service Specialist qualification. You will help our teams deliver the best possible customer experience and consistent communication.
Sustainability

Our 4 stage application process is designed to help us get to know you as a person.
Firstly the application form, its brief just let us know why you want to join us. We will then invite successful applicants to a webinar, where you will get to find out more about Broadacres, and meet some of the team. We will also be sending out a short quiz. Next, an assessment centre (week commencing 3rd July & 10th July). These are face to face group sessions hosted at our head office in Northallerton. Finally, a more traditional interview at our offices (week commencing 31st July).
