Role Overview:
In a Nutshell…
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our team within Countryside Partnerships Home Counties North, at our Coggeshall Mill site (CO6 1RP) in Colchester. As our Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of all internals on the site this ranges from booking in subcontractors following the schedules and making sure correct materials are on site. You will be tasked with managing plots from roof complete to handover to the client. This is a 73-unit site all HA & PRS with the third phase being 66 units with a mix tenure. This is a traditional build with a mix of houses ranging from two to five bed.
You will need to assist the senior site manager with H&S duties and overall housekeeping of the development.

Desirable –
- Valid First Aid at Work Certificate
- NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar
- Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate
- Valid LOLER certificate
- Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project and Asta Team plan
- Managing all aspects of the build process
- Housing and Timber Frame experience
- Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation

- Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and supply
- Ensure PPE is being correctly worn relevant to the company’s policy and sub-contractors RAMs
- chain within their control under the strict observance of the safety policy
- Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
- Participate in safety initiatives
- Supervise the day to day delivery of construction projects; quality, time, procurement, contractors including the supervision of sub-contractors and the monitoring of contractor attendance and progress providing direct instruction as necessary
- Ensure that detailed plans are followed such that material/resources/supply chain can be delivered to meet the overall project plan
- Ensure all materials delivered to site to meet production needs
