Purpose of the role:


The overall purpose is to deliver / serve a range of foods that consistently meet all client expectations.

This includes:

  • 1100  senior school meal for 165 school days
  • 275 staff meals for 172 school and inset days
  • ( not directly involved –  250 junior school meals for 165 school days)
  • Sports meals – weekdays and Saturdays
  • Hospitality requests including  6-8 dinners  of 40 -250 covers each year
  • 20 – 40 Support meals, during school holidays / weekends
  • Breakfast offer for boys Mon – Fri
  • 6th form café
  • Old Hamptonians pavilion


Key responsibilities

– Staff planning – rotas, training / recruitment,

– Service planning / costing.  Working within agreed budget / monthly costings.

– Allergen management / medical diet menus.

– Food ordering and stock management.

– Bluerunner management. ( Hospitality management system)

– Food Safety and Health and Safety management ( silver standard compliance ) of the  front of house areas and front of house personnel

-Taking part In unit management meetings and meetings with the client.

The current FOH team has good experience and the local knowledge to help an Assistant Manager understand the operation and settle into the role.
