Location: North Midlands

Contract / Shift: Permanent – Full time – Monday – Friday

Attractive Salary + Sales Based Commission + Car or Car allowance.

NMR is looking for an ambitious Area Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in bringing new business growth, developing customer relationships, and expanding our presence in the agricultural sector. You will be working within a defined region in the North Midlands, where you will prospect farms, engage with stakeholders, and promote NMR’s industry-leading services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers by promoting NMR’s services, including milk recording, disease testing, genomic testing, and farm software.
  • Plan and execute weekly farm visits, attend farmer markets, and network at trade shows like Dairy Tech and Dairy Day.
  • Use data insights and collaborate with key partners such as Lely, Genus, and Zoetis to gather leads and expand our customer base.
  • Develop relationships through in-person visits, calls, and emails, ensuring customer satisfaction and service adoption.
  •  Participate in regional marketing campaigns, organise farm walks and workshops, and contribute to national events.

About you:

  • Proven field sales experience, ideally within the agricultural or dairy industry.
  • Familiarity with farming and the dairy industry is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to quickly establish trust with clients and move on to the next prospect efficiently.
  • Independent and driven, capable of building your sales pipeline and generating leads proactively.
  • Comprehensive interpersonal, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Proficient with lead management and CRM software.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
