That’s why we’ve created six Colleague Resource Groups to help steer our efforts on this journey. They cover Age, DisABILITY, Ethnicity, Gender, Pride and Wellbeing.
We’re so proud of where we’re at on our journey to create a culture that everyone can embrace and celebrate, no matter who you are. But we know there’s so much more to learn, lots of room to improve, and even stronger networks we can create to stay committed and connected to championing difference.
Support through everything
We know an inclusive culture means caring about the wellbeing of our colleagues and their families. To do that, we’re working together to remove the stigma around mental health. We’re taking steps towards this goal by helping our managers have meaningful conversations with their teams to support their colleagues’ mental health. And also getting involved in national campaigns such as Every Mind Matters and Time to Talk.
So everyone can come into work knowing they’ll have the support they need to feel seen, and feel better.

Asda Foundation
With over 30 years of helping people in our local communities, Asda Foundation is an independent charity with a mission to transform communities and change lives.
Community is a word you’ll hear often at Asda. Across all our stores, distribution and head offices, we’re proud of the local communities we operate in.
We’re particularly proud of our amazing 400 Community Champions who are there making a positive impact all across the UK. Alongside Asda’s charity, The Asda Foundation, we’ve got loads of ways to help local grassroots community groups and charities, from outreach programmes to grant giving, our Community Champions listen to our communities’ needs. They work tirelessly to support charities, projects and initiatives that make a real impact for local people.
